Lucca
Lucca is famous also outside of Italy borders for its intact town-walls
building of the XV-XVII century, that it describes a perimeter of 4.450 m
approximately around to the historical nucleus of the city, transformed already
beginning from the second half of the 1800's in pleasant pedestrian walk, turns
out up to the present as one of the better one conserved in Europe in how much
never used in the centuries passes to defensive scope.
Consequently of that also the monumental historical center of
the city is remained for great intact part in its original aspect, being able
therefore to number varied architectures like the most numerous medieval
churches of remarkable architectonic wealth towers and bell towers, and

The Garfagnana and the Mountains
The Garfagnana is one region of the province of Lucca comprised between
the Alps Apuane and the Appennino Toscoemiliano. It is crossed from the Serchio
river and it is rich of forests. The main center is Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
Other important centers are Camporgiano, Gallicano, Piazza al Serchio, Pieve
Fosciana, Collemandina Villa and are today visited by many tourists that
searches nature and relax.
The Versilia and the Sea
Well Known bathing zone, with the Versilia term is stretched to consider
the coastal zone that covered from South towards North, part from Torre del Lago
Puccini and arrives until Marina di Carrara passing for the centers of:
Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Marina di Pietrasanta (than are distinguished in
four zones: Focette, Motrone, Tonfano, Fiumetto) and Forte dei Marmi, Cinquale
di Montignoso.
